Pretty Good Tabouleh
3 cups of bulgur into 4 cups boiling water
take off heat let it sit for 15 minutes, add:
- 1 big cuke, peeled and diced
- 3 or 4 tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 chives
- 1.5-2 bunches of parsley
- big ol dash of tumeric
- big ol dash of salt
- 6-7 cloves of garlic, crushed
mix and stick in the fridge for an hour
serve with warm pita. Try this, stuff the Tabouleh in a big ol tomato
Pretty good Tatzhiki
- whole container of yogurt
- 4-5 cloves of garlic
- 1 fat short cuke, peeled
- blend
Pretty Good Falafel
-
2-2.5 cups cooked garbonzos
- 1-1.5 cups cooked brown rice
- 1/2 bunch parsley
- cover the top with tumeric and salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- bonus = garlic and/or chives
mix, add water if needed, fry in oil
bonus=serve with tatziki or tahini, salad dressing will do if you're desperate
